Sales Policy, Shipments, Deliveries and Free Termination Of Contract

QUINTA DE CEIS reserves the right to modify, without prior notice and at any time, the information and commercial offer presented on: products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services.

The images that illustrate each product in QUINTA DE CEIS may differ from the product subsequently delivered, with any product subject to stock rupture.

Under Portuguese law, all prices shown in QUINTA DE CEIS include the respective VAT rates, unless otherwise stated (written information “Without VAT” always visible and next to the price).

The promotions published in the QUINTA DE CEIS Online Store may not be applicable to physical stores in QUINTA DE CEIS.

QUINTA DE CEIS also informs that the online store is an e-commerce platform aimed at the final consumer, reserving the right to limit the sale stock of some items per customer.

After confirming the order to QUINTA DE CEIS, an email will be sent to the contact address registered by the customer at the time of formalization, with all details about delivery, billing, payment information, products and values. If any of the details placed by the customer in the order is found to be wrong and / or the customer wants to change some information – as long as the order has not yet been dispatched – we request that the customer use the contacts provided, as soon as possible, so that internally the change requested by the customer is made. Changes to the details of orders already shipped will have to be analyzed by QUINTA DE CEIS so that, together with the customer, the most appropriate solution can be found.

All orders at QUINTA DE CEIS will only be processed after payment is received. The formalization of the order alone does not constitute a reservation of the products.

If an order cannot be fulfilled in part or in whole, the customer will be immediately contacted by QUINTA DE CEIS in order to find the most suitable solution.

Orders can be canceled when expressly requested by the customer through one of the contacts indicated, before shipments of orders. After confirming the shipment of the order, the customer is asked to contact QUINTA DE CEIS so that, together with it, the most appropriate solution can be found.

Through QUINTA DE CEIS Online Store payments are accepted through Bank Transfer, Paypal and Credit Card.

The prices of products do not include the cost of postage. This value is calculated based on the value of the entire order and its destination. The total shipping costs will be automatically calculated when placing your order in our Online Shop in cases where the destinations are Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, France, Monaco, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden Finland or Greece. Note that the factors to be considered in this calculation may be variable and still change without notice.

QUINTA DE CEIS may ship to other destinations, in addition to Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, France, Monaco, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden Finland and Greece.

QUINTA DE CEIS does not notify you of any possible changes to the order shipment status.

The customer should take into account that the shipping times are estimated times. If the carrier tries to make a delivery and the customer is not available to receive it, the estimated delivery time may change.

In general, after dispatch, an order at QUINTA DE CEIS takes time to be delivered:

– Between 2 to 4 working days for mainland Portugal
– Between 4 to 8 working days Continental Spain
– Between 10 to 20 working days Eligible Countries

After the orders are dispatched, if for any reason the customer does not receive the shipment confirmation, he should contact QUINTA DE CEIS, (geral@quintadeceis.com), so that all available information about the shipment of the order will be sent again. order.

All products sent by QUINTA DE CEIS must be checked upon delivery. If the customer finds that the order is damaged, he must immediately return it to the transport company, duly justify the reason for the return on the carrier’s delivery note and immediately notify QUINTA DE CEIS at geral@quintadeceis.com or through contacts listed below.

If after delivery, the customer finds that any of the items is not in conformity, he must immediately contact QUINTA DE CEIS through the email geral@quintadeceis.com indicating the order number or the document number that accompanied it the order, attaching images of the packaging as received and of all articles, so that the process of investigating the occurrence is opened internally and in this way the situation can be resolved as soon as possible.

QUINTA DE CEIS is not responsible for shipments made to countries where the respective law does not allow the entry of alcoholic beverages. It is the customers’ responsibility to seize the respective orders, as well as to pay customs fees, if any.

In case of return of products, QUINTA DE CEIS will refund only the amount referring to those same products. In case of doubts, we advise you to ask the QUINTA DE CEIS prior to ordering.

QUINTA DE CEIS uses specialized carrier services for deliveries in Portugal, Europe and other countries, which seek to meet shipping and delivery deadlines. However, we warn that there may be possible delays of a kind outside the QUINTA DE CEIS, and it is not possible, in these cases, to guarantee the expected delivery times.

Most deliveries are made during business hours on working days at the destination address indicated by the customer when submitting the order.

In the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt by the transport company, in the absence of the customer, a transit notice is always left in the customer’s mailbox with the carrier’s directions.

Depending on the service and the carrier, orders must be collected at the location indicated by the same in the passage notice, or the indications requested in the same notice must be followed.

If for any reason the customer cannot receive the order or pick it up at the location indicated by the carrier, he should contact QUINTA DE CEIS so that together they can find the most suitable solution.

QUINTA DE CEIS recognizes to all its customers the right to terminate the contracts they enter into, allowing them to return, within 14 (fourteen) days, from the date of receipt of the purchased products, under the terms of the regime Portuguese legal framework for distance and off-premises contracts

(Decreto -Lei n.º 24/2014, de February 14th, amended by Lei n.º 47/2014, de July 28th e pelo Decreto -Lei n.º 78/2018 de October 15th).

In order to exercise its right of free resolution, the client has to inform QUINTA DE CEIS of its decision to terminate the contract, by sending the “Free resolution” model contained in part B of the annex to Decreto Lei nº 24/2014, of February 14th, in the current wording resulting from the aforementioned diplomas, or through any other unequivocal declaration of termination of the contract, sent with proof of receipt, to the email geral@quintadeceis.com indicating the order number or the document that accompanied it, taking into account the following conditions:

  1. In case of contract termination and to return the order, the product must be in perfect condition and, if applicable, with its original packaging, accessories or promotional offers included. Monitor the return of the order with proof of purchase or invoice.
  2. The return of defective products and erroneous shipments will be admitted, QUINTA DE CEIS being responsible for the costs of shipping and collection, whenever the customer communicates this circumstance within a period of 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receiving the product.
  3. Once the goods are received at our facilities and after validating the condition of the goods in accordance with the reason for the return, the value will be refunded within a maximum period of 14 days, according to the payment method. performed by the customer, or another previously agreed solution.
  4. The right to terminate the contract does not incur any costs for the consumer except those that the consumer himself has requested, as an expensive delivery method.

QUINTA DE CEIS assumes responsibility for defects of origin or raw material of the purchased product. If this is confirmed by the QUINTA DE CEIS specialized team, the product will be exchanged or returned, at no cost to the customer.

QUINTA DE CEIS will not accept the return of the product after being used or if it has been altered or modified.

QUINTA DE CEIS is not responsible for deficiencies resulting from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or causes of force majeure.
